Chipper Jones was one of the best Switch Hitters of his time. I was a big fan of him during his prime and it was nice to see him have a good season last year.

In terms of fantasy value, I see him as around or just outside of the top 10 fantasy 3B. He has the capability to put up solid numbers.........like .310-30-120 in a season if he gets 500 AB. However, the problem is, the past 4 or 5 years, he has been unable to stay healthy, and at age 35, it's unlikely to change. Because of the injury risk, you can't draft him any higher, and if you do take him as a starter, you must take a good backup sooner. For this year, I see something like .300-18-80 in 350 AB.

Chipper was a good player. He helped his team big time back in the day.

But he older now and I don't know what changed. He's not that great though anymore. Oh and if you consider this a bad comment then tough deal with it.
