Long story short, I have my car parked in my apt parking lot. In the morning, i found that i got to move my car due to parking lot paving, but the guy already paved the parking lot around my car and told me i shouldn't move my car else might get on the car. Came back couple hours later and moved my car found that my driver's door is rubbing the fender and then found out my fender is dented. I asked the manager's office what they can do about it. the lady said cant do anything because they posted notice already, and told me to ask this other lady on monday, whom has more authority.

My question:

1. What is the chance of getting my car fix without spending a penny?

2. How much you guys think will cost to fix the dent, the dent is about size of a fist right on top of the driver side's front wheel.

Just put a matching dent in the other side so they look symetrical. "car was made that way"

If the metal is just pushed in and the paint is not bad, look for someone advertised as "dent doctor" or "dent wizard"... you can ask the local car dealers who they use for repairs on their new cars. It's usually a specialist that goes around and fixes these small things for less than a body shop would charge.

Chances are, the paver did it and may or may not fess up and offer to pay.

Get a set of inexpensive ramps at an auto parts store. I can understand saving some money on the repairs, I love to do my own work, but your talking about being crushed to death here. I've seen people lose body parts or even their life trying to take a shortcut. Get a set of ramps or stands and be safe. Your life is worth more than the few pounds it will cost for the proper tools, and you'll still save a fortune by doing the work yourself.

You have very little chance of getting it fixed unless you take it to a body shop and pay for it yourself. Consider yourself lucky they didn't tow your car away to do the paving since you didn't move it.

hey buddy this might sound funny and might make you look funny but if its just a dent and the metal isnt crinkled try using an ordinary plunger (yes it works)

$500

or do it yourself for about $40, as long as you can get matching paint, you can do a pretty good job of fixing it and it will never be seen
