Who said that you won't meet anyone that would be interested in you here in Japan? That person doesn't know anything about Japan. Japanese are one of the most accepting people in the world. I have known people from several different nationalities who were not the "cream of the crop" so to speak, and ended up getting married to a Japanese and is very happy.

If you are looking for a relationship, you should come here single. But please don't be one of those foreigners that come and have relations with every person you can.

I came here almost engaged, and ended up getting married to a wonderful Japanese girl. Now, I'm VERY happy with 2 kids.

Good luck!

Like the previous post said, don't end a relationship just to try to get Japanese girls...you could always lie and deny it later!

Anyway, being a single man in Japan is great if you like the attention. However, that is lost when you get in the big cities like Tokyo, Osaka, etc. where there are alot of non-japanese around.

That said, its easier to have a one-night-stand in the big cities at the big "gaijin bars" than it is in smaller cities. Same rules apply like any other city.

it depends on yourself. if you are already in a relationship then dont end it to go play in another country, unless you are real tired of it anyways.

if you arnt in a relationship just go for the experience and dont think that you NEED a relationship to enjoy it. Just take pictures and keep in touch with friends that matter to you, and if you meet someone, great!

It doesn't matter as long as you love each other. You can be long distance love affair or just rely on saying "love can wait".

Both options are have their own advantages and disadvantages. Just think which do u prefer and be ready for whatever cause it brings.

Good Luck!!!
