The West Memphis Three are in prison for life because they wore black, listened to Metallica and read Stephen King novels. Are we all guilty of judging others around us based on such petty things?

Da Mick, read the book "Devil's Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three". There isn't more to the case. They were thought of as Satanists based on the way they looked and what music they listened to and what they read.

I really don't think it was a black tee-shirt and horror books that got them a life sentence. There's got to be more to the story than that.

People can judge anyone based on anything. Think about it. People that where polo shirts and khakis are stereotyped just as black people with baggy pants are white people with dreadlocks and so on. Black, white, Puerto Ricans, Mexican, Native Americans, what do Muslims look like? Its a religion. People are judged by what stores they go to or what they eat or where they live. Its really quite sad.
