hitch-hiker??? Were you scared?

My family did when we drove cross-country in a station wagon in 1972. Seven of us and our luggage crammed into that damn car and Dad picks up a guy on the Interstate!! What was he thinking!! We weren't scared then, as the guy was nice, but when I think about it now, well, oooooooooh *shudders*

No I've never picked one up, or have I ever hitched a ride. My late husband used to, back in the early 70's, he made it sound really fun and interesting. But back then, it was a time when hitching was okay.

Yes, Me & A Friend Did Once...By The Time We Got To Where He Wanted To Go...He Wasn't In The Backseat...Jumped Out Somewheres Along The Ride...Those Were The Days...

I have as a way to pay back the kindness others have shown me. No i wasn't scared because the people who I picked up were probably more scared of me but I am just a big teddy bear.

Once this guy approached me and said his car was broken down and his wife and baby were out in the cold, so I gave him a ride back to his car. I was scared and wished I could have said "no". I will never do that again. When I dropped him off, I didn't see anyone...fishy.

Ya all the time once I picked up a space cowboy, we went to Mars and met a talking moose. LOL

yes I did
and they pulled a knife and told me to get out of my car, as I stopped I dropped my keys and well
he ended up in the hospital and I almost got arrested
I do not think they will ever do that again to any one

I have once. He looked pretty harmless so I did not get scared. I believe in karma so what goes around comes around and someone may help me like this later on in my life.
