You should get modemax at modemax.com. There you can download a free internet optimizing tool that will boost your internet speed at it's top. But it's not guaranteed to work for everybody though. Enjoy and good luck!!

You have not said what connection you have. How ever the basic is to clear internet cache. ( Delete temp file both online and offline). Delete cookies. If convinient clear history. If it is dial up check your phone line. You will have better speed is the line is clear without any humming or buzzing sound. Check the cable if it is chipped somewhere. That is all I can remember for now. Hope it helps.

Most of the time the delay can be traced to DNS lookups, so try to run a cache-dns server locally on ur machine and see how it improves the speed.
Also using a cache-proxy server can definitly improves the speed.

Disable Autoupdate feature on all applications that have the feature, you can manually update at a time convenient to you. This will make sure that you get to use the pc and the connection to the optimum use.
Other that that upgrade to a better plan with your ISP.

Some times it is your line.
Some times it is your mouse, if you have not cleaned it, do that.
Check everything else make check list and go thru it one at a time.
Remove clutter, add memories, defragment time to time. Get good protection system installed to stop worm or viruses-fire wall.....
Do not open mail that you do not think is from some one you know. Follow shut down method strictly.

get comcast or firefox i just got comcast and its soo fast that as soon as i click it takes me to the page.
