Can it be Lavender or pink-ish ?

honey its your day..Lavender is very classy, and pink can be very timeless if done right. You can wear any color you want, its about you and what you want noone else..On the day wear something that makes you happy, not what comforms to what society expects

Yes, your wedding dress can be any color you wish, besides lavender is a pretty and feminine color. White is traditional because of the whole virginal aspect, but it lost its appeal because how many brides are actually virgins. Wear what makes you happy and have fun. It is your day, so enjoy it.

Years ago, NOTHING but white. But now a days you can go with Lavender or pinkish as you put it.

No. they sure can be any color. Even Green or Black. But it is recomended you do White. It makes a more rememberable and greater wedding.

white is just traditional and for some it means a virginal wedding (get real) whatever pleases your mother will be fine lol

it can be any color but white is the most that stands out! or just wear really sparkly diamonds on your dress :-)

It can be anything you want...its your day and your dress.. You celebrate how you want to..do it in a bikini if you like as long as your happy

You can have whatever you want. There's no reason to HAVE to follow tradition. My step-nephew's wedding was all black. (His second and her third)
