I respect my Dad a lot- he always worked hard, but he spent time with me, talked to me, taught me how to fix things....
He also was abused by his father growing up, but he NEVER abused me or my sibs-- he broke a cycle that many studies say is really difficult to break....
And now, he is a really loving grandfather.

My Dad is the greatest man I ever knew. He showed me what unconditional love feels like, how a man should have reverence for a woman. He taught me that I was a princess and should only settle for a Prince. He was my mother's Prince: handsome (striking) educated/strong/loving/kind and I know I would not have the confidence I have today or delight so completely in being the woman that I am if it were not for my father.
