Yes, this is really annoying.
About a month ago my kitten went ripping through my room in the middle of the night and burned out on my head, scratching my right eyelid. My eye twitched for two weeks. I thought it was going to be permanent! But it has stopped. Whew!

Gee, I'm just glad to see I'm not the only one with a twitching eye! Watched it in the mirror once and you could barely see it, but it feels like it's twitching the whole side of your face.

For the better part of November, I had a twitch inside my ear. It was quite annoying to hear thumping day and night until it finally decided to stop!

Your story is good based on your English assignment. What it desperately needs is quality punctuation throughout the manuscript. Watch your contractions, use of commas associated with question marks when an independent clause is in the tag, and how to make street dialogue come alive through punctuation.

Yes, my eye does that sometimes.
More magnesium in your diet will help with muscle twitching.

Yes, and when you try to get someone to look and see what's twitching, it stops.
