the stereotype "scene" whut does it mean? being your self... or not being your self? emo... prep? hardcore...? you dress like the band or type of music you like?
these are the questions the puzzle me...???


used in a sentence... "this picture of you is very scene..."

It's interchangeable with the word "poser" it's mainly used to describe people who listen to hardcore, emo and indie music and dress in that stereotypical style (tight pants, bandanas in back pocket, black hair in face, etc)

Usual when someone calls you scene it's an insult, basically saying you only like the music just because you think it will make you "cool", or don't actually like the music at all.

It's pretty stupid (to use as an insult I mean)

it's a subculture. damn, it's not an insult. we're grimey, vulgar, and generally weird be we like it and we don't care. there are those of us who are hardcore christian. the only advice i can offer to you is check out my myspace (myspace.com/17828285) and/ or most of my friends. have fun with that.
