FYI.....it is not warm here right now. It's cold. Vegas has winter too. So, that being said, when are you planning on visiting? Just be yourself, regardless. If you go clubbing, all clubs adhere to an upscale dress code policy. If you plan on sight-seeing, where your comfy shoes ans whateva looks cute with them. If you are sporty, wear something sporty. It really doesn't matter how you dress in the casino. They only care if you are spending that all mighty dollar, not what brand your bag or jeans are.
You can, however, get away with dressing as crazy and eclectic as you want and you won't stand out. Anything goes here, and you see every type of ethnic background and social group. So, if you wanna try a new look and see what kind of reaction you will get, or how you feel, this is definately a good place for that. Have fun!!! And good LUCK!!!

Dress however you want. The Rat Pack days are long gone. No one gets too dressed up unless you are at a club like "Studio 54" at the MGM. There really is not much of a dress code anywhere even the Champagne Bar in the Paris (Napoleon-open after 5pm) will accept shorts and T-shirt as will the "Eifel Tower restaurant" very few places actually have dress codes much less enforce them. If there is a place you are concerned about call ahead and ask if jeans are allowed. I have been many times and dressed however I want no matter where I go-money talks in Vegas-everything else is secondary. Have Fun!

When the sun's up in Vegas, anything goes. That said, the floor of a casino is an entirely different locale than your home town. If you're just out for sightseeing, then your normal weekend attire should suffice. But if you plan on spending serious time at the tables, you might want to lose the shorts. Casinos tend to keep their temperatures cool, especially as the weather heats up outside, so a pair of pants will ensure the only goose bumps you get will be from rolling a hard eight.
Evening is a different ballgame, however. Without accounting for personal style, if you're not sure, simplify. You may not stand out in black, but you won't be ridiculed either. If you've scammed the tables and your pockets are flush, visit any of the Strip's themed shopping malls, from Caesars Forum Shops to Via Bellagio, and get your kit together. The general theme might seem overwhelmingly Italian, from the club kid looks of Diesel to the grown up international luxe of Gucci and Prada, but you don't need to go overboard. You're not gonna be thrown out of most places for looking too nice, so err on the side of sophistication and you'll do just fine.

Depends on where you go. You can go into Casinos in just about anything (and people do). Don't wear sandals out at night. I did and couldn't get into clubs; had to go back to the hotel and put on shoes. Aside from that, relatively casual. Pants or nice jeans with a collared shirt do the trick in most places; however, when you're in Vegas you want to look good, because that's what most others are trying to do. I recommend dressing a little nicer than what you would normally wear out on a casual night.

One good thing about Vegas is you can wear anything and wouldn't feel out of place...
But if you are going to good restaurant or any clubbing in casino... you need to check the dress code... because they are very straight on that.....

No where else but in Vegas will you see t-shirt and shorts walking by a tuxedo and formal gown. This still amazes me and I've been here several years! Oh, and people still wear shorts in the middle of winter!!

Wear comfortable shoes. And keep your wallet in a zippered pocket if possible.
Las Vegas beyond the strip can get real dangerous. Avoid it.

Casual durning the day - it's HOT in the summer so you want to wear layers because the casinos are always freezing.
Going out to clubs at night or nice restaurants- more dressy, no jeans.
