It all depends on how you measure success. Monetary gain or peace of mind. Or it could be independence. Success is individual. A degree does not define success. Passion, business aptitude, willingness to take risks and determination are the hallmark of success. The sheepskin is not always the answer.

Hell no. It isn't the paper or the clothes or the car. Do good deeds, be honest, be reliable, help others, help yourself, appreciate what you have, help those less fortunate, and continue to set goals for yourself because we always have room for improvement.
It's about honesty, integrity, service, growth, being the best person you can be, and helping others be the the best they can be. That last part is often overlooked by people when defining success, but its critical to the definition.
Check out the prez - can't keep anything together - I'd say he is liikely the least successful person on earth right now... but if you learned about Mandala or Mother Theresa, they were probably the most successful person who lived.
Education helps, just like having a great job helps, but money isn't the definition of success. If your stoned and drunk all the time, it catches up to you eventually and makes the success thing a lot harder (been there done that).
Hope it helps - just my 2 cents.

Absolutely not!
Education is important but not essential.
HOWEVER, a high level of intelligence is, if you dont have the education.
There are people who went to private schools with an excellent pass rate for qualifications that have, lets face it, had former pupils make a complete *rse of themselves.
Education doesn't equal success.
Intelligence doesn't really either but it's more important.
Luck is a factor of success.
It has been known for someone that could barely tie their shoelaces and who didn't speak coherently until they were 5 to come up with and extremely complex scientific formula (Albert Einstein).
Quite what this has to do with getting stoned i'm not sure but if your head is clear it helps!

In my humble opinion, its not how far you go, its how you get there. You can be succesful anway you want to. You can't usually tell how spritual anyone is from the outside. Its all about the attitude. Yeah, if thats all someone does their entire life (wasted) they can't really benefit from it. But there is always an exception. Maybe they are going through this period in their lives now so its not later and they may learn from it now. What not to do.

Yes, but not necessarily formal education. Bill Gates dropped out but gave himself an education in the software business twenty years before it was in any textbook.

We educate ourselves. For example, an autistic child may not know how to educate themselves, but when they are trained how, they make progress like crazy in learning. Most of us educate ourselves without realising we are doing it.

All successful people were in possession of the right education for the track that made them successful.

Stoners and drunks eventually burn out. Has nothing to do with intelligence and education, but emotional problems and coping mechanisms.

Bill Gates dropped out of college. Remember that --- if you're as ruthless as Gates, you can get rich without an education.

Success is relative. But if you're referring to financial success, then the answer is not really. Many of the managers at the places that I have worked did not go to college. They simply worked their way up.

Success depends on yourself. About getting rich, you need to be a businessman with strong connection. (a paper qualification does not need in this case)

No, most financially successful people do not have a high degree of education.

However, there's more than just financial success.

(And by this group I mean the filthy rich.)
