I'm watching the local news and they have this dude that they picked up on a warrant for beating the crap out of 3 different women and threatening to kill a fourth- and they found BODY PARTS in his back yard and then they end the story with
"When we spoke with local law enforcement earlier this evening, _________ was not suspected of having any connection to the body parts found in his yard."

Yeah, but it's the law enforcement that i wonder about. This man has beaten 3 women and threatend to kill another but he is not suspected of having any connection to the body parts found in HIS yard?

Wow - scary stuff. Since he hasn't been convicted of anything relating to the body parts yet, I suppose they have to say that to cover their butts against a lawsuit or something.
But yeah, I understand where you're coming from tho. I imagine the guy saying something like "No officer. Those body parts were here when I moved in".
