Today you see the one you think is me
But what you see is actually not the truth
Because the inner me will never flee
From dates or sitting in the Starbuck's booth

You think you see a shy retiring girl
Who rarely speaks a single useful word
But deep inside I really am a pearl
Who wants to run and needs to lead the herd

So come o'er here the inner me's about
To sing a song above the common man
I want to let the me I know get out
And show the world that all I feel I can

And when we meet tonight for Starbuck's tea
You will see the one, the real me

I suggest you look up Elizabeth Barrett Browning's Sonnets (44) or Shakespeare or Emily Dickinson and just rewrite one of the patterns to fit your theme.

Start by writing out sentences and phrases describing both sides to yourself, then trying to make them rhyme.

Examples:
.... shy
.... public eye
.... inside
..... hide
.... looks can be deceiving
.... seeing is believing
.... can't judge a book by its cover
.... appear to others

What's not to get? You write a poem...like a story. About how you're shy but really you're expressive and loud and whatnot....you're just rhyming in the process.

dude, not to be mean, but stop being lazy and do your own work. why dont you start with a brain storm? then write out a rough draft and work from there. youre only cheating yourself if you dont do your own work.
