If you know spanish can you tell me what it is about you don't have to tell me the whole lyrics. Just a short summary of it we are thinking about using it for my grandmother that past away. Thank you very much!♥

its a beautiful song in Spanish, some say its a lullaby some say its a carol. Not matter what in Spanish is sounds beautiful no matter what it means. The words that can't be translated could be name of some sort.

Yes its beautiful...she would be very happy and proud of you for using this song, or singing the song.

I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother, hope your doing as good as can be. It must be so hard.

I don't think it would a good idea to translate it, although you could, literally. But the original meaning would be lost in the translation. In Spanish the words are mixed up. For example casa Bonita…house beautiful we would say beautiful house

I tried translating these lyrics, but they did not make sense:

A La Nanita Nana

A la nanita nana nanita ella nanita ella
Mi niña tiene sueno bendito sea, bendito sea
(repeat)

Fuentecita que corre clara y sonora
Ruiseñor que en la selva cantando llora
Calla mientras la cuna se balansea
A la nanita nana, nanita ella

A la nanita nana nanita ella nanita ella
Mi niña tiene sueno bendito sea, bendito sea

Fuentecita que corre clara y sonora
Ruiseñor que en la selva cantando llora
Calla mientras la cuna se balansea
A la nanita nana, nanita ella

To The Nanita Nana

To the nanita nana nanita nanita it she My girl has I sound blessed is, blessed is (repeat) Fuentecita that run clear and sonorous Ruiseñor that in the forest singing cries Shut up while the balansea cradle To the nana, nanita nanita she To the nanita nana nanita nanita it she My girl has I sound blessed is, blessed is
Fuentecita that run clear and sonorous Ruiseñor that in the forest singing cries Shut up while the balansea cradle To the nana, nanita nanita she

ehm... my mom said it's more just a lullaby but you could play it anyways :)
Maybe it'd be like playing Lullaby and Goodnight to a kid who passed away?
and there's a couple ways you could translate lyrics since some of the words have different meanings.

Sorry, can't help you since I don't speak Spanish, especially since you asked to look at this one on your other question.
