Usually because they are too ignorant to be aware of how much they don't know; too insecure to admit their ignorance; and too stupid to be willing to learn. It's also why they cling to simplistic dogma as the answer to everything; seek the exclusive company of a congregation of shared beliefs; and are usually pestiferous and persistent in their pursuit of converts to their own beliefs and opinions, as buttresses to support them. Poor sods. Compassion may be appropriate, but sufferance is not. Good luck.

This is a place that people come looking for answers to their questions. I would hope only those who truly know the subject they are answering to do know what they are talking about.

Since NO ONE acts like they know EVERYTHING, the question is . . . why are you so skittish ?
Why are you acting so biitchy because someone else knows something ?
Are you resentful because you lack knowledge ?
Why are you advertising your neurosis in a public place ?
