Well it depends on what kind of pink the dress is.
Black shoes go with either hot pink or pale pink.
But if you want something that matches better, then try some white shoes for a pale pink dress.
Or,
Strappy black shoes would go nicely with a hot pink dress.
What ever the colour of the dress, you should stick to strappy shoes with heels, just kuz they look better.
And paint your toe nails a hot pink or a purple..
Just so you look even more matching.

Try these colors:
Classic:
Black and Pink
Pink (one that matches...)
Black
White
A Little More Retro-ish:
Red (might not look great, but it can be pulled off)
Green
Orange and Pink
It also depends on the shade of pink that the dress is.
Really, most colors will look OK if you have something that blends it in. For instance, if you want to wear a pink dress with red shoes, do you have pink AND red earrings? What about a purse? The possibilities are endless...

I would think pink, maybe tan but you didn't say long or short dress, formal or just dressy ... so there are options such as white, silver, even clear with small bits of color or rhinestons ... it all depends on the dress/event

Depends, if it's a formal affair like a prom you need to have shoes died to match or wear white. If not , if it's just dressy and you aren't wearing gloves or flowers and have a black bag then I would wear black and build from those two colors.It is more sophisticated.
