Hum., well a lot of people go for a walk, jogging, exercise, some clean like crazy, some go for a drive, cry, watch sad movies, eat ice cream (I've never found that very effective) mostly the best thing is to talk it out with someone until there is nothing left to say.

Do you have anyone you can talk to like that, I think that would help.

It helps to safely take out your feelings on an inanimate object. What I do is grab a hatchet and spend a while splitting firewood in the back yard when I feel that way--hitting things with an axe really gets the stress out, and I can use the end product when it gets cold.

If that isn't an option (and I guess that for most people it isn't), you could always invest in a punching bag. Good for frustration, and bonus exercise!

You've got to develop your own style. As you've noticed, eveyone suggested different things. I like to curl up with some good rock music and a notebook to write in. Go figure. Think of all the things you like to do, then put a few together and figure it out. Once you figure out you're own combination to calm yourself down and make yourself emotionally stable again, you can use it again and again. Try your favorite cd and home activity for winter. then in the summer you could go biking or whatever it is you like to do with an mp3 or ipod. most f my friends find that their favorite music helps while doing a hobby. do stuff that makes you feel good.

My personal opinion is that when you are not in a good mood then you can always go to sleep. Some times dreaming about your problem is a good way to handle stress. Plus sleep helps your body recover from it because you go into an exahustion phase after any strong emotion.

watching a great action (or whatever your taste is, but i would stay away from anything depressing) movie with a big tub of ben and jerrys .. that ALWAYS helps me

p.s. dont try to go out .. stay home alone or with someone you really trust that will let you vent about whatever you are feeling

Nothing can ease your pain if you'll be thinking of it so much. Just forgive and forget. That way, you'll find it easy to feel better. It goes naturally.ü

Anime. Alot of anime makes you laugh and feel good. One good anime to watch in that situation is (and it works):
Chobits (Only watch with english subtitles and Japanese audio)
