Take a piece of paper and write down all that has happened which made you sad, just like writing Auto-Biography and then put that paper some where away.
Write a letter to the person who has made you sad informing about your feelings, it is not compulsory to send that letter just leave it in your books. If you intend to send make sure twice before you do that, sometimes it happens you realize later that it was your stupidity to think in that manner and feel bad or it was your misunderstanding and you foolishly send that letter and in return you might hurt some one special to you.
Later on after few days you will automatically destroy that document.
Do the things that make you happy.
Watch movies that you like, read books, listen to the music you like, try and forget the incident that made you sad.
Go out with the friends whom you like.
Do not discuss the issues that have made you sad.
Try sleeping as much as you can and when you wake up never think of the past.

Option 1: Talk to someone you trust (ie. pastor, friend, relative, God)
Option 2: Find a hobby you enjoy
Option 3: Go out and spend time with your loved ones: friends, family.
Option 4: Pray ....
Option 5: Eat a lot of ice cream...okay maybe not too much.

The best thing to do when you are sad is to listen to your favorite radio station, and crank it up all the way!!! That is what I did!! :)

with out full explanation, if you have a significant other, love on them, and them the same, go buy a trinkette that makes you smile, find some stupid questions toanswer like is it wrong for a man to loose his virginity toa hooker?

listen to music,take a walk,meditation,breath in n out,cuddle up in ur bed,hv ur fav junkies (limit em please!),call up ur frd or talk to someone close abt ur feelings - dont bottle em up,watch tv,pray

i love listening to music. i put in my favorite band and relax while thinking. if i don't wanna think about it i'll just relax and try to clear it from my mind. sometimes talking to family/friends also helps me if i'm upset. good luck.
