I used to be.
I used to do shyt that I really did not want to do because I did not want to hurt the other person's feelings etc. I was going to plays that I did not want to see (the original person backed out and the 'invitation' meant that I had to pay for the ticket that was $68.00), babysitting for the worst kids you have ever met, taking calls at midnight from a 'friend getting off of work' but calling her on a saturday afternoon and she said 'dont call me on Saturdays because my boyfriend is sleeping (WTF, the whole world is asleep when you called me at midnight INCLUDING MY KIDS), running errands that were of no value to me (i.e, going to traffic court with a friend to wait with her to pay a fine mind you this same friend was to busy to visit me when I was in the hospital for three days) and just doing other things that were not authentic to my own spirit. (The lowest point was when I went with my 'friend' to spy on her ex husband and his new woman and I sat in a car from 7pm until about midnight waiting to get a glimpse of this chick ~it was about 22 degrees outside)
Shortly after that I resolved to be true to my own self....
Once I started saying NO, I was suprised to find that these people really did not care, they just moved on and found others to use...
My phone rings a whole lot less but when it does I am not filled with dread when I answer it.
Once I got cured of the disease to please, I felt way better about myself.

I used to be until I ended up agreeing to do about 20 things all on the same day and realized that I needed to learn to say no.

lol yeah. That's like my weakness....I can't look someone in the eye and disagree with them for some odd reason. Ahh, I wish I could though. I'm such a softie, lol.
