I'M WITH FABIO. GOVERNMENT HAS CAUSED THE PROBLEM FROM THE BEGINNING. THAT AND CORPORATE INTERESTS IN MODERN TIMES.
MEXICO LOST TEXAS, NEW MEXICO AND MOST OF WHAT WE NOW CALL CALIFORNIA. IT WAS AGGRESSION BY THE SETTLERS OF THE WEST. THE LAND WAS FERTILE AND THEY WANTED IT; PLUS HAD THE GUN POWER TO TAKE IT.
NO DIFFERENT THAN THE NATIVE AMERICAN SLAUGHTERS. DID YOU KNOW THERE WERE 15,000,000 INDIGENOUS NATIVES IN THIS COUNTRY UNTIL THE SETTLERS DECLARED THEM SAVAGES AND UNDESIRABLE? OUR HISTORY IS SEEPED IN BLOOD.
BY THE 70'S THE AMERICAN CORPORATIONS HAD FORCED, SOMETIMES BY VIOLENCE, THE MEXICAN PEOPLE OFF THEIR FERTILE FARMLANDS THEY HAD IN THEIR FAMILIES FOR CENTURIES. I BELIEVE THE FIRST WAS COCA COLA.
I SAW DOCUMENTARIES BY INDEPENDENT JOURNALISTS WHERE HIDDEN CAMERAS SHOWED THEM THREATENING MEN AND THEIR FAMILIES BY GUN POINT TO LEAVE THE LAND. THESE PEOPLE WERE AGRARIAN. THEY COULDN'T WORK IN, NOR AFFORD THE PRODUCTS PRODUCED WHERE THEY ONCE LIVED.
NOW DISPLACED, THEY SCRAMBLED TO LIVE. THIS INCREASED OVER TIME AND MEMORY IS CONVENIENTLY SHORT. COLORED BY WHAT MEDIA TELLS IT'S CITIZENS. THIS IS TRUE IN MOST ALL COUNTRIES.
IF A PERSON IS WATCHING THEIR FAMILY STARVING AND ACROSS THE ROAD THERE IS OPPORTUNITY, THE BRAVEST AND THE BEST MAKE THE HAZARDOUS JOURNEY. MANY GO BACK AND FORTH TO SEE THEIR FAMILIES. SACRIFICING THEMSELVES FOR THE BETTER OF THE GROUP.
UNTIL THIS ECONOMY WAS RUINED BY THE PRESENT ECONOMY, PEOPLE LOVED THE WORKERS THEY PUT IN SWEATSHOPS AND EXPLOITED. NOW THEY ARE SCAPEGOATED FOR POLITICAL REASONS. GIVE THE PEOPLE AN ENEMY AND THEY LATCH ONTO ANYTHING.
THE PEOPLE WHO HIRE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS SHOULD BE PROSECUTED, NOT THE PERSON IN NEED. THEY NEED ASSISTANCE AND AID.
THE MEXICAN GOVT. LIKE MANY BEFORE THEM, IRAQ, NICARAGUA, CHILE, IRAN..ON AND ON HAVE HAD LEADERS PUT IN PLACE BY OUR GOVT. TO GAIN FOR OUR ECONOMY BY HOLDING DOWN THEIR OWN PEOPLE. THESE ARE BUT A FEW.
THOSE THAT HAVE A PRICE TAKE IT. WHEN WE ARE DONE WITH THEM THEY ARE THE ENEMY. IT'S DISGRACEFUL AND IMMORAL. NORIEGA WAS OUR MAN. PINOCHET, MARCOS.
YOU CAN SEE I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT THIS SUBJECT.
I AM NOT HISPANIC. I AM A CAUCASIAN WHOSE FAMILY CAME FROM IRELAND AND ENGLAND.

Unfortunately the north americans (Unated States of course) have proven over and over again their blindness to the actions of there goverments. Most of you ignore your own history. Shame on you putting walls on people trying to earn the lowest income posible in order to make their families survive. Most of this caused by the politics imposed by most of your own corporations. And your history fought slavery in the past. What do you think you have created down there? You forgot your own history. But wait, maybe it isn't your fault. I forgot, your schools are not working either. Lets hope you awaiken and become the figters of freedom you so proudly advertise. Start by freeing people in your own country. Educate them. With out education there is no freedom only ignorance. And remember education with out history is worthless.

The Berlin wall was all about keeping people *in* and preventing them from going where it was perfectly legal for them to be. The fence is to keep people *out* who are trying to go somewhere it is illegal for them to be. That's a big difference. Obviously there is no I.Q. test to get into Hollywood. How about "The Border Security Fence".

The " its already hard enough to get a job stay the hell out our country fence" I am a cert. welder and while i was working on the docks waiting for one of the greasers to either fall in the water quit or get deported back to mexico, well lets just say it was very frustrating.

i could say do no longer forget the taco sauce and after a whilst of no longer getting a burrito i could get mad at him reason he distinctly lots asked if i needed a burrito and that i pronounced sure so then i could bypass to taco bell reason i could truly desire a burrito then and order like 5 of them and if i knew his variety i could then call him and yell burrito at him to work out how he likes being presented a burrito and not being given it
