I think the answer is in the first sentence. There's something strange about saying that there are 66 and 44 grapes in a bunch instead of simply saying there are 110 grapes per bunch. And I believe that's because there are not 110 grapes per bunch. Some of the bunches have 66 grapes, the others have 44. Therefore, if Bob puts 10 bunches in a bag, we don't know whether he puts 10 bunches of 66 grapes, 10 of 44, or a combination of both, which, of course, means there's no way anyone could ever guess at the right combination.
This is my answer and I can't believe I put this much time into trying to figure this out - :)

very tricky. i wonder what the answer is because i tried using the numbers in every way i possibly can multiplying them, adding them etc.etc. arriving at the same answers as everyone else.
