To tell you the truth, I think the worst way to find a band name is asking someone what you should call yourselves. In my experience (and other bands who have made it huge today), there is always a story behind how they came up with their name. My advice is to not push it, and your name should come naturally. It should click instantly with the band if it's the perfect one for you guys.

to find a name for your band is really tough, be aware of the things you do everyday, like what you usually eat, where you hang out, do you like going to the arcade, beside playing the guitar. then somewhere along the way, you'll find the perfect name for your band. and if someone asks you how did you come up with the name? then you'll have story for your band's name...have you heard of the 80's band the go-go's? one story of their name is: where there's a gig, they go, thus the name the go-go's.
