Name check!?

Question

I have some names (not preg.) that I want to lock on.
Need some opinions. Want to know if the names will be picked apart in school.

Boy: Ethan Dane or Dane something.

Girl: Bethany Noelle or Alaina something or Claire Noelle

Any variations or suggestions are cool. THANKS!

Abby...you said Ethan Daniel and that is so weird because my bf's name is Daniel and that was one I was thinking of.

I love the name Claire Noelle. It's beautiful. It reminds me of one of those well behaved angel kids.

As for Dane, Dane is a good, solid name. Maybe even too solid. He should have a softer name like Dane Tyler or Dane Michael. I think Ethan Dane sounds the best as for Dane names, though. The name Ethan Dane reminds me of a cute little boy who smiles a lot.

I was friends with a guy named Dane in high school and he had a little sister named Noelle. :) Their mother must have liked the same style names as you.

The names weren't picked on at all. I really like them both.

I am not too crazy about the flow of Ethan Dane. I like something like Ethan Alexander.

How about Dane Wyatt, Dane Spencer, Dane Myles or Chandler Dane, Elliot Dane, Benjamin Dane.

For the girls I like both Bethany and Claire Noelle. I like Alaina but I really love Eliana.

I don't think Ethan will be such a great name in school, it is very poopular and kind of boring after you hear it so many times! If you go with Dane, I would make that his middle name......How about these:
-Kyle Dane
-Robert Dane
-Bradley Dane

As for the girls names, I like Claire Noelle. I would only use Bethany as a nickname, not as an actual first name, because people will be like 'Oh, is that short for Elizabeth?' And it will get very annoying........Alaina just has never been a name I like. I feel as there is nothing to it.....I don't like how it is spelled also! But, as for Claire Noelle(the one I like) I think this name totally depends on the last name. A one syllable first name always goes best with a longer last name......and Noelle, I just love!

I don't like Dane or Bethany but the other names are great. I like Ethan Ryan for a boy. For a girl I like Alaina Noelle. None of the names you listed would get made fun of though so no worries there!

No Dane. That makes me think of a dog and I just see kids barking at him. I suggest Brady maybe Brody. I also don't like Bethany, it sounds to old fashion. I am not sure that kids would make fun of it though. I like Alaina, what about Beth for a middle name or Claire would be good for it too. Also, think about Ava Claire, some one posted it a few days ago and I love it! Good luck!

if claire is fat they might call her clarabelle. sorry i automatically hate the name claire cause this girl i know. Noelle is very pretty though! and so is Alaina! Alaina Noelle. we have a winner.

Ethan Dane is ok. my sisters bf's brother's name is Matthew Dane. it's different. Ethan Daniel could work too. good choices :)

Wow I'm so surprised to see that you chose Alaina. My sister's name is Alaina (mine is Aurielle and my twin sister is Anjoli hehe).
None of our names were ever the center of jokes in school, and Alaina would be an excellent choice. Everyone I know has always said that it's a beautiful name.
Alaina Noelle would be a good name for a girl, and for a boy, Ethan Dane sounds perfect. Not likely to be picked apart in school. :-)

For a girl I would say.. Nevaeh its Heaven backwards maybe Alaina Nevaeh also Mia Bella it means My Beauty in Spanish :) for a boy I would say Ethan sounds good but not sure about Ethan together with Dane

Ethan sounds cool but loose the Dane.
Bethany sounds too 50s kinda 60ish.
Alaina and Claire sounds good together.
Claire Noelle sounds alright.
