OMG I LOVE Wicked. But you may also like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels or The 25th Annual Putnam county spelling bee. Most likely, Dirty Rotten and Putnam County will satisfy you. Maybe Dirty Rotten more. But look into both!!

If you're asking about musicals to watch now versus just asking about great musicals in general, try The 25th Anuual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Drowsy Chaperone, Chicago, Hairspray, Jersey Boys, Avenue Q and Mary Poppins. I also here that Christine Ebersole if fabulous in Grey Gardens, and Kristin Chenoweth is knocking 'em dead in The Apple Tree.

If you're looking for musicals with great scores, don't forget shows written by Sondheim such as Into the Woods, Company, Sunday in the Park with George, classic R&H like South Pacific, The King and I and Carousel. Two Ahrens and Flaherty shows that I love are Ragtime and Once on this Island.

if you want to see a funny show, you can't beat The Drowsy Chaperone. If you want to see an amazing looking show, go for Lion King or Phantom of the Opera (sets, costumes, and obviously the shows themselves are great). If you want light fluffiness, i've heard that Legally Blonde is good, or Wicked is always a good bet.. and if you're into something more edgy but is inpiring, go for Rent... oh and remember that they cut a ton of songs for the movie so its a really different experience to see it live... really it depends on the kind of show you're interested in seeing

Go see "The Pirate Queen" when it opens up on Broadway this April. I had the opportunity to see it in Chicago during it's Pre-Broadway engagement this past fall and it was spectacular!!!
