Be d Jasus woman, this reply is comin from an Irishman, who might be able to help you a bit.
From my own experience, periods can happen at times least expected. For example, my ex wife had two periods while she was pregnant with our second child. However, the reason for this is that she became pregnant within 6 weeks of giving birth to our first, a girl. In case my facts are wrong, the first, Michelle, was born on Nov 11th '80 and our second, Austin, was born on Oct 1st '81 So that means that for 6 weeks of every year they are the same age. My present partner n I are together 12 yrs. We have a six yr old daughter, which was five years in the making, and no sign yet of a brother r sister for her, unfortunately! But Christine had a couple of periods during the first weeks of pregnancy too.
Sorry for any miss spellings, my spell check thing is f... not working to well!! Cheers, and the very best of Irish luck to you.

Yes and No. I'll assume you are young. So in most cases unless you have had your overies removed or damaged by some disease or injury, same for your uterus, you will still have periods even if you can't have babies for some reason.

Periods have to do with many hormones produced in other glands of the body. Many women who never are able to get pregnant have had normal periods since their teens and as they haved aged to the point that menapouse began, had normal periods all their adult life.
