What am I supposed to do to my throat? Or am I perfectly fine?

I don't mean to scare you, but you should go to the E.R. It is common for food to sometimes get caught in the throat, and not make it down. This could lead to the throat swelling, and closing, which would cut off air supply
.
More then likely your throat is just irritated, but best not to ignore. The best thing is to go to the E.R. and let them check your throat throughly.

If your having trouble breathing you need to see a doctor now. The problem with that is it could become stuck in the throat and block your away on the other hand if your coughing and it goes down your wind pipe instead of up you can get pneumonia from pieces of the meat being in your lungs. And no you don't have to be choking to have something stuck in your throat

If you are breathing normally and you can't feel anything now, you are probably perfectly fine.

If the food scratched up your throat, though, you may feel a little pain for a day or so until your body heals. Fortunately the throat is an area that heals quickly!

You are fine, what happens when you choke on food like that is it tends to damage the inside of your throat. It is temorary and it will heal just give it time. The damage is usally minor abrasions to the inner throat, theres nothing you can do about it really, best thing to make it feel better try ice cream, smoothies or hard candy like jolly ranchers.

You are not perfectly fine if you think this is the correct place for an answer. You would only be perfectly fine in an emergency room otherwise you could choke to death before you read my answer.

Seek immediate medical attention

Much worse than talking and eating is laying down and eating!

Got a LITTLE piece of popcorn down my throat like that. I sought prompt medical attention, since it was bothering me, and you probably should too if you feel weird, or you're pretty sure something went down your throat.

I wouldn't suggest you do anything to yourself. Nature always seems to run its course. Although I was fine, it took more than a year for my 'tickle' to go away.

You don't want to be checked, they stick an endoscope down your nose to look at your throat and tell you it's a scratch, which apparently commonly feels like something stuck, you don't know how lucky you are to be saved from that!

It might have gone down your wind pipe, but what i guess is that you were eating cast and your throat can get clogged with food. It's gross , but sometimes when it happens to me, i think my esophagus gets bigger and like almost pinches off my wind pipe. it gets hard to breathe and sometimes leaves me coughing.

go to this website if you think it might have gone into your lungs.
