The lead singer's name is Austin Winkler and the reason his singing is late is because in song videos they must loop the song back over the video- meaning Austin may have been singing while taping but after the taping the song was then layered back over the video- hence his timing being so off.

And as far as the 2nd question I'm not sure what you mean. If you can try and rephrase it might help. I've listend to this song over & over on the radio + seen the video and it's NOT about cheating.. actually listen to what's going on in the song, it's a story... and he says "AND I, NEVER WANNA SAY GOODBYE!" and that's it. If you listen you should make up your own story.

But the band members are Cody Hanson (drummer), Blower (guitar), Mark King (Guitar) Mike Rodden ( Bass) and Austin Winkler (vocals). And umm, that's the way their song is. like ir or not. question them if you wanna know why their lyrics are the way they are. not us.
