the gameboy micro can only play GBA games, and the charge life isn't great. comparitively, the charge life of a GBA SP is better, and it can play older games.
you can still buy the micro in places that have it in stock, generally for around $35-$40 dollars - but the last few months, many stores put the prices low so that they can sell out and get rid of the gba micro.
as a result, many places might be sold out, and they don't plan on restocking. you could call local stores, even department stores like sears, and see if they have any gba micros in stock - that's my recommendation
