They are fake. The PPV was more then 2 weeks ago, so even if he did suffer burns, they would be gone by now so yeah, it was fake indeed. Wrestlers wear special padding to protect themselves ofcourse, but the wrestling in Japan is real like the hardcore stuff over there!!

well considering i saw him and kenedy face the brothers of destruction at a house show in gainesville fl on dec 30th, (after the ppv where he got burned, and before the raw where he claimed to have spent new years in intensive care). where he took repeated back bumps and a choke slam i say they are fake.. or he is the toughest man alive. he was bandaged up and cut a promo about the burns, but he worked a good match.. well as good as you can against the likes of those two oafs.
also whoever on this thread thinks burns magicly disapeer in 2 weeks, has never been severely burned before

It is fake cause after their inferno match I read it on prowrestling.com that the wwe was going to do a storyline that he suffered 1st degrre burns and if you go on wikepedia and search for him you will see it is all kaybe.It is not real.

alot of stuff is staged and faked for the drama...but the risks are real, so it could be either

I dont watch smackdown.
but you could tell he wore a teflon fireproof suit to the ppv.
so i doubt any "real" burn that he got was any worse than a sunburn.
