I have not used messenger for a while, in the old version you could access the old IRCs.

From memory u used to enter ":irc" in the chat window, does anyone know how to do this ?

Hi Cribbag

Thanks for the heads up, but I am chasing the commands you can enter into the chat window.

As I said from memory you could type in ":irc" in the chat window or ":help" & ":list". These commands would list other "channels" particularly regional ones and I think they start with ":", but they must start with another character as ":" does not work.

I could get access to Australian City channels, like Adelaide which are not listed under Austrlia / Regional channels.

I know were I want to go, but I can remember the exact commands to access them.

Does anyone know how to do this ?

With Trillian, you can put in all your IM accounts, and IRC connections as well.

There are several major IRC networks and thousands of servers with millions of channels. You almost have to know where you are going before you start.
