No it will not it just shows you are running low on oil. If the light is on get it checked. When was your last oil change? If there is a leak and it's not visible it could become a big problem.

The low oil pressure sensor on a Subaru will not shut the engine down.It is for the guage or lite only.so unfortunatly if it comes on on a Subaru it is almost too late. It only shows low oil pressure and not low oil.So check your oil once a week,it only takes a minute.

Your lifters might desire to be bleeding down overnite (or quicker) which they might desire to not do. i'm in touch appropriate to the low oil tension at situations that may point out that the bearings or oil pump might desire to be wiped out yet maximum in all probability the bearings. do not subject your self appropriate to the sending unit or gauge being undesirable that's not your situation. you have a save put in a sparkling oil pump yet on account which you have been having issues of the low oil tension i could lean in direction of am engine overhaul. Sorry i won't help you on the fee as that varies from place to place. thank you for all the targeted documents. It extremely helps! stable luck!
