Life. It is simply that special. The only thing that matters between now and death is that you LIVE. I have a child so that makes mine a bit different, well it makes my purpose a little bit different. When I die, providing I am not famous at some point in life, the only thing that matters is that I lived and loved what I felt in my heart and that my daughter remembers me as her hero. My daughter will be the only one who remembers me forever. Life is my test to move on. It doesn't matter what I have in life, how successful I was, how rich I was, it matters only how I LIVE. There is always someone out there that could possibly be in worse shape than I am. Have you ever wondered who the person is that is the WORST off in the entire population? Surely that person cannot be you. I guess this is a different viewpoint. I try to picture meeting that person that is the worst off in this world, then my life doesn't seem that bad, as I am still living it.
I guess my favorite thing in the world is LIFE.

Ultimate favorite? My family, every single member of it, especially my husband and kids. (Why: they give me motivation to move on and warm my soul).
Favorite activity: writing (It is cheaper than therapy and it's one of the few things I know I'm good at).
Favorite indulgence: shopping with someone else's money;-) (Need I say more?)
Favorite 'thing': My Serious satellite system. How did I ever survive without it?? I hate radio stations and DJ's! But even more important than that, music makes my heart so joyful. When I am down or discouraged, music is like God soothing my soul and helping me find my happy place again, and remind me why I love life so much. Which brings me to my last 'favorite' catagory...
Favorite way to celebrate life: Enrich the lives of others through my work: teaching.

Standing outside on the deck right before a thunderstorm is about to begin. Hearing the thunder rumbling, feeling the wind pick up and watching the lightning is one of the most wonderful things in the world.

do you mean commodities, or do emotions count too??!!?
if so, i would say the feeling you get when you spot a rainbow after the rain or feeling so, so small when you look up to the sky on a clear night with more stars than you can ever imagine...
oh yea and things like this to keep me occupied when i am bored on rainy nights...

My blanket. I have had it for 23 years. It is my security. Whenever I get sad, or sick, I wrap up in it and it makes me feel better. When my daughter was a baby, whenever she would cry, I would cover her up with it and she would fall asleep almost instantly. Still to this day, it makes her feel better.

My memories and experiences. I can easily relive them when the situation is proper. It's quite excellent.
