I know about lisence and better user interface on NAV
so TECHNICALLY!!

I used nav 05 in 05- mid 06, then license expired.
Then used Symantec and AVG simultaneusly
AVG was better... Symantec slows my system teribly..
AVG did well, detected several trojans while Symantec updates almost every 2 months

All I want to know is the difference between NAV and Symantec Corp AV TECHNICALLY, are there any differences

Well, the first mistake you made was running two anti-virus programs simultaneously. That will ALWAYS cause a severe performance hit!

From a technical standpoint most antivirus packages differ very little. Norton extracts a slightly higher performance hit than McAfee does. Unless you have an old computer or very little RAM, you should not notice a significant hit with any of them.

You should also update your antivirus DAILY, not every 2 months!
