I knew they jumped the shark after killing Marissa the main character. It didn't take a rocket scientist to know this. But, I knew it would be a bad mistake and cause the ratings to fall. They should have had her funeral and ended the series. Never kill of main characters. Enjoyed watching the show every Thursday on FOX. A little disappointed, but expected this outcome. Didn't know they were going to cancel. Maybe that is why it got so hot and steamy the week before and this week coming up. And of course, they introduced Chris Brown yesterday to boost the ratings. Bought season 1 & 2 of the O.C. for $18 from Target's.
And thanks to everyone for letting me know it will end in February. Farewell O.C.

Unfortunately, it's true...I don't know exactly when, though. I heard it was because Misha Barton decided to leave....
