Half a billion is pretty good for such a specific type of music. I believe it was Elvis. Bing sold the most Christmas music.

Elvis Presley...and I was never one nor will I be to buy one...I cannot stand him....I prefer Elvis Costello..now there is an Elvis...Crosby was a wife beater.....I cant listen to him without thinking about spousal and child abuse.
