eat good, healthy foods.
get enough sleep (about 8 hours a night)
exercise daily (at least 30 minutes, preferably outside)
attend all classes.
do not disrupt classes by talking, laughing, goofing off.
be respectful and polite to teachers and fellow students.
listen to what the teacher says and take notes.
do all homework assignments.
do all assigned reading and make notes while reading.
even if it isn't required, write an essay on whatever it is you are studying. it helps you remember while improving your writing skills and you can use it as a study guide.
read additional material on the subject (ask your teacher for recommendations).
several days before a test, start reviewing your notes (or your essay).
don't cram the night before a test. get plenty of sleep.
OR
Enroll in a modeling school, which would probably be a much easier way to be a "model student" LOL

Model students I've been familiar with not only thoroughly study the subjects required, but also tutor others in group study. This way, the model student expands their own knowledge using others' perspectives and promotes enthusiasm for the subject being studied. A model student goes beyond fulfilling study requirements by doing extended research. The research gives added insight by showing relationships of ancillary aspects of a subject.
