I rather tend to agree with this wise observation. My
"favorite thing to think about" is my book. You know ...
THE Book! It kinda gives direction and meaning to my
life in a very general sense. This is important because
these are the kind of "little things" that make life worth
living by investing it with depth and quality. If you live
only from moment to moment, and day to day, without
ever thinking ahead (or behind) ... What do you think
about all day and all night long? Don't you have to be
rather thoughtless and unreflective to prefer 'thinking
only of the moment' to thinking 'ahead and behind'?
Yes, it's true that there is much meaning to be had in
action and full immersion in ... whatever you happen
to be ... umm ... occupied with? (Is that the right ?)
Anyway, what you tell me about 'your favorite thing to
think about' tells me not only who you are, but also
your relative philosophical worth! :)
