Do I have to save games to the hard drive of can i just get a memory card???

If you purchased the core system then yes you will nees a xbox memory card. However you have the premium (white) box, you will not need a additional memory card. The data will store directly on the hard drive. Hope this helps!

No, you don't need a hard drive to save games. A mem card is fine but i would suggest you get the hard drive too because you can have more capacity for saved games, videos, music and other stuff like system updates. The hard drive also help make the games load faster.

i have both the only diffrence is that on the hard drive you could save alot more games songs download games and demos uploaf pictures etc. the memory card saves only games and the hard drive has 12 gb and the memory card has 54 gb

you don't need the hard drive to save games... you can use the memory card.....the hard drive is just more memory ...depending on what system you buy....the premium/pro package comes with the hard drive...the core package doesn't come with the hard drive you have to buy a memory unit to save games...hope this helps.
