My friend and I like to hang out together, but whenever we're at her house, she never wants to do anything. All she does is play on her computer and talk to her MySpace friends that I dont even know. I'm not the kind of person to sit around and do nothing. I'm energetic. How can I push her to get up and do something without being mean?

How about asking her to come to your house instead? Or you could decide to meet up somewhere to go do some kind of sport or activity. This won't give her the chance to play on the computer and will make the situation a lot less awkward!

well, you can first start by some other activity not in front of the computer and suggest something like board games, makeovers, like... putting on makeup and stuff like that. then maybe you can encourage her to go outside to just take a walk in a good weather. then you can go to the mall or something and then go to this game place (if they have one) and challenge her for a DDR game or something. If all this doesn't work, find a new friend who likes to do more energetic stuff like yourself.

tell her the friendship isnt working out that well. shes talking to myspace friends and u dont know them and she doesnt introduce them to u. thats doesnt sound like a friend to me. be accertive and ask her to go somewhere with u at least once a week if shes ur true friend.

plan some activities like sports and outdoor fun. try and get her to get a hobby like soccer or hockey.something to get her heart pumping and pretty soon you may be the one that may want to rest all the time.

Well set a standard for yourself.... Since she is your friend, she can only be influenced mostly by you, by what you make her know you do and don't do....

Set a standard for yourself and your standards would influence her to work since she is your friend and only friends influence friends mostly...

Like the popular saying Goes show me your friend and i would tell you who you are.

Invite her to do something active like ice skating (if its winter) or roller blading or whatever you like to do. who knoes? maybe she will realize she really likes it.
