asked and answered!
: If both the President and the Vice President die, the Speaker of the House of Representatives assumes the position. After the Speaker, the Presidency goes to the Speaker Pro Tempore of the Senate, the Secretary of State and then down the line to various officials in the President’s cabinet. This was established in the Presidential Succession Act of 1947 and the 25th Amendment to the US Constitution.
"Female Communist"? Give it a break! You may not like her but she is no Communist! I am sick and tired of you conservatives calling Democrats Communists! Even the Communist aren't Communist except in a minor number of countries!!

Speaker of the house. It goes all the way down to the DC dog catcher. Thats why at the State of the Union, someone doesn't go (usually some secretary of something) Just in case the whole building goes, the guy who buys TP for the park service will be left to run the show!
