Some lady is suing the studio where an oprah show was being filmed because she was pushed and fell while audience members were rushing to their seats, or going to their seats. She wants more than 50,000 in damages, the funny thing is that they don't mention what kind of injuries she received. Most likely a bruised knee. Anything for money I guess.

She will have to prove the Studio did not show reasonable care to control the flow of people.

She wil also have to prove damages!

If she did fall on her knee and there was serious damage, medical bills can add up real fast. She choudl be suiing for other people's lack of concideration.

Well better get it while she can. You can sue for anything these days, but there are also dumb lawsuits/laws to stop her from suing too. You never know with these things. People can sue for something stupid and get the $, and others who sue for a good reason lose. Go Figure.

I have not heard this one.. I just cut my legs while I was shaving so I think I need to sue the company that made the razors for making them too sharp.. DUH... I tried to sue a moving company that ripped me off..the lawyers told me it was useless and I could probably never get the money...that was a legitimate claim.. (they stole my money)..I wonder how much she will get in damages. It's sad when people like me can't sue someone who broke contract but people like her can find a lawyer that can't wait to take on her case.

That's a better reason than suing for spilled coffee.

Of course. It sure beats trying to win the lottery. Might as well get everything you can before the "American Ship" sinks.
