Honey, watch out for what you ask for, you may get it. I'm not even sure that I want to be rich. One of my brothers was a self made millionaire (grocery store/auto parts) and it was a sad story. He worked 24/7 and never enjoyed life at all, and it made spoiled brats out of his kids. He died of a heart attack a few years ago and there is still a battle over his possessions. He told me that money never brought him happiness. Never make your money your God.

Just because a person has a nice car, clothing, or home doesn't mean they are rich or even that they have a good job. There are alot of people out there who live on credit. That's not something to envy. Many (not all) of them live from paycheck to paycheck and will be in debt forever. The truly rich people are those who live in modest homes, pay cash for things, and drive their cars until they die. If you want a decent paying job, think of one in which a degree is required... doctor, lawyer, CPA, etc. If you want to be rich, just spend less than you make and put money aside. It won't happen overnight but you can do anything you set your mind to. Your local library will have several books on the millionaire mindset that will help you plan your goals and be that rich person you feel jealous about.
