how can i sort out this problem.i dont kow what the config of my computer should be plus i think some threds have gone missing,

If the problem is seemingly unrelated to any change in installed software or hardware,try using the system restore tool to return the computer to previously operational state.The system restore stores information about critical system files and can be used to restore them to their original state.Good luck

win xp tool called fixboot..writes a new boot sequence read up on how the tool works and the commands that are used....must fix from win xp cd ..recovery console
