It's illegal to have a pet monkey....gay..other countries dont have the law(some!!!). It's cute and awesome looking (only applies to baby monkies).

For one thing, it would promote the illegal poaching of wild animals. For another, they are dangerous animals, and do not belong in people's houses, or with people who are improperly trained to handle them. A lot of things are cute, but it doesn't mean you should take them home.
