I already know about:

melting (solid to liquid),
boiling (liquid to gas),
condensation (gas to liquid),
freezing (liquid to solid),
and sublimation (solid to gas, like how dry ice becomes CO2 gas).

So what's the sixth one? And did I get the fifth one right?

The answer is "deposition." Your other answers are correct too. Take care.

matter transformation from gas to solid without passing through the liquid state is known as deposition.

deposition is the opposite of sublimation, which you described above correctly (solid to gas)

deposition is the term to describe gas to solid, it is the reverse process of sublimation (solid to gas ). Thank you!!!

You were right about sublimation, and I don'tthink that gas to a solid is possible- it has to condense, then freeze/solidify.
