I was going to get the Mint Chocolate phone from Verizon, but then someone told me it wasn't that great. Then other people told me they really like it. What is the opinion of you if you have it? all I have is the teenage view...and teenagers think everything new is great.

It is for an upgrade, so I have to go through Verizon itself. I have a crappy phone now, so I want a good phone. I don't want a knockoff because those are a pain to try to deal with and I don't want to try to find one.

i have a chocolate. Its good. when I first got I was real excited but as i started to use it i realized that this phone is really really sensitive. it goes by touch sensory and even when you lower the sensory level it still is really sensitive. but other than that its great. its a cute phone and if you want to listen to music its good too. another this i didn't like is that the phone's camera doesn't have a flash.

I would never buy a phone named after food. I cringe every time I see their ads... everybody loves chocolate. What flavour would you like?

Other than that, there are many other model phones that look nice, have cameras and play MP3's. I prefer Nokia phones because they seem to get the best signal out of any other phone. I like my phones to be able to make and receive calls well. That's what I want a phone for.

As for foreign phones, don't get one from Japan. All their phones use a system incompatible with ours. Taiwan is a great place to look for phones as they're GSM and they make them there. I bought one off of Taiwan eBay and had it shipped to Canada EMS post. It cost a fair deal but it had features that phones around here didn't have for a year or two. It was cheap compared to other brand new top of the line unlocked phones. Just make sure it will work on at least 1900MHz. Look at brands like BenQ or Okwap.

Alright so you have to go Verizon. Well the KRZR is a better phone but it's also twice the price. I guess for the features it has, the chocolate isn't a bad buy. It just depends on whether you really need all those things or not. Sure it's nice to have an MP3 player in your phone, but using it as one will eat your battery up like there's no tomorrow. The removable memory is nice but are you really considering having your phone replace your digital camera as your de facto photography equipment? It's up to you. It's not a crappy phone, and just because I wouldn't get it doesn't mean you shouldn't.

Going along with the other person's answer, foreign products in English can be great. They are cheap and are pretty good quality. The one's from Japan especially are very colorful. They are not like the iPod (which are very simple) i got an MP3 Player from a Japan based company (i think it was Japan) and it's very colorful. it's 2 GB (about 500-1000 songs) and it has a nice design and games, videos, and pictures and it was under 60 bucks. So they are great.

if you want to have chocolate, you should buy it unlocked. Verizon changes the menus and features of all it's phone so that you can't feel the true features of the phone.
Besides if you are a verizon costumer then either you were misguided in the first place or either you are not so aware of verizon. (I HATE VERIZON)

My wife recently upgraded to the chocolate and she loves it. It plays music pretty well and has the ipod-like navigation. I personally do not like slider phones, but I do find this to be a neat little phone.
