Under these conditions:
1. Your intentions are honorable.
2. Both you and the other person have not only a mutual attraction, but also a mutual respect for each other.
3. Both of you have met both sets of parents, been open and honest with them, and explained your intentions.
4. Neither one of you EVER put pressure on the other to do anything that they would not do in front of a group of people.
Under these conditions I think the two of you (or any couple) should be able to date. I also think that under these conditions your affection for each other has real possibilities to blossom into something special.

Yes.
1. Usually the 11th grader will understand the age of the 9th grader and respect that.
2. 11th and 9th grade are two different times in life- serious(11th) and silly(9th). The 11th grader needs someone who can remind them what fun is- and the 9th grader needs guidance into doing well in highschool.
3. If the age is a problem- it'll become obvious very quickly and the relationship will just end.

yup, but there are stipulations. the 9th grader can't be retarded. It would be more socially acceptable if the 9th grader was somewhat popular. It would be the Shiznit if the 9th grader was a dude, and only slightly pathetic if the 9th grader was a chick, but if she was hot it really wouldn't matter now would it. And for whoever said age shouldn't matter, that would encompass statutory rape, and child molestation, so you're way off base. Age does matter creepo

totaly people do that all the time and if you don't go for it you might lose the opertunity so i say go for it and if it doesn't work than find someone else 8-P haha

it is ok but not too gd if you start too early on dating. Cause you may leave a bad impression of it.
Cause i hav feel that and do that before it is so bad.
