Somebody once said that if you've had a bad childhood, you're destined for sucess.

I think that other people don't see them as being this person thats untouchable when they've had a few problems. they seem more normal i think... more down to earth so to speak and people feel that although they may not have money or their talents, maybe they have their problems in common.

What about the people that had a bad childhood and now are homeless? or dead? This country has an unhealthy obsession with celebrities. All most of them do is entertain. Doctors, teachers, dentists, the single mom or dad with two/three jobs, police officers, and ect, are much more appealing. The celebrities that are appealing are the ones who are humanitarians and use their power and money to help/save others and the planet.

that's not true. people with happy childhoods have a greater chance of success i think.

all the strippers and prostitutes were molested as children, for example.

thats dumb, how many kids in 3rd world countries make it to hollywood, and they have it much harder than any of them yuppies
