no, just don't put a bunch of personal information or tons of pictures on there and you should be pretty safe.

The internet in general is a place where you comunicate and interact with people, you should treat them like you would in real life. If you know how to handle real life then you can handle myspace. Dangerous or not depends on the actions you choose for yourself, just be aware of the consequences.

I think it's dangerous to reveal personal things about yourself for the world to read. I too have an account, but only filled out the bare minimum of questions, like that I'm female and married. I had to create an account so I could snoop around! But, overall, you really should be very careful. You never know who's reading up on you...

I think myspace is safe. If kids under 17 are gonna be on their i think they should be monitored by their parents. It can be if they advertise themselves as older, sexual and in a way other than their age. But myspace as far as my experience has been a good one. Its harmless fun. I use it to get in touch with high-school friends, peeps i haven't seen a long time and its good for networking. Hope that helped.

YEAH! I've seen on Local 4 rescue thing that they have gone onto random peoples myspaces and 4/5 they found where they live. So, yes, I think it's SUPER dangerous.

I think like anything else, it depends on how it is used and who is using it. The user (i.e., yourself in this case), who has an online profile, I think must be very cautious about who you respond back to if people write to you, as, (and I am sure you are aware of this as well), there are some very predatorial people using such sites. I think if you are careful, and are wise about how you meet anyone you may choose to meet (i.e. ALWAYS in a public place that is well-lit, and NEVER giving out any personal information about yourself (not listing too much on your site, or changing it so it is not too revealing of personal details), that is your best bet.

Myspace is only dangerous if you make it dangerous. Don't go onto the website and tell all of your information and expect not to be stalked. It is a cool website full of harmless fun and reunions of distant friends.

I think that if you keep the profile for friends only it isn't very dangerous at all. And, if you know how to use your brain and know not to meet people off of online, then you should be fine. Myspace itself isn't dangerous, it is the people who are on it!

It depends on the person and what type of information they put up about themselves. I have seen personal addresses, phone numbers. Unless your setting are set up a certain way everybody has access to that info. It can and cannot be dangerous.
